When global warming escalates and Phoenix starts to experience Oklahoma style tornados and 143 degree days, APS goes offline after a terrorist attack, a deep fallout shelter with a back up generator, solar power and would make a nice shelter, for ones family and perhaps one's neighbors until things got better.

Or when "the big one" hits California and most of California goes crumbling into the sea, while the rest is in flames - and thirtyfive million refugees come flooding into Arizona after President Hillary declares martial law, if more Arizonans had a secure shelter with ample water, food and medical supplies they could help feed the starving & injured - and also have a place to barricade themselves if the California mobs get nasty.

Imagine it...Tom, Robert, Alcaray and the rest homeless and wild-eyed (more than usual) heading east in Tom's Vanagon...that's when a stocked "fallout" shelter is good and handy.
