re: Tell us, Al.
I thought so too at first, too, but it all depends on where the light source is. Is the shadow cast by the leg off the ground visible when her foot is pointed toward us, or away from us? I even covered up the shadow to see if the cues it gave were confusing me. It didn't help.
Sometimes I see her pirouetting on her right leg, sometimes on her left, but I can't catch the moment of transition. I think it's possible to tell which leg she's standing on, and it seems to shift from one to the other at random.
Fascinating. I could stare at her for hours.
