And: Without the big building to draw the eye, a couple more features came to my notice. What's the thing to the right of the long skinny building, still standing? It's much clearer now, and looks like a concrete bunker inset into the canyon wall.

To the soutwest of where the big building stood, there's a strangely rectangular feature which seems to be part of the landscape, but something about it makes me wonder if it's some kind of overhang, like a garage or bunker.

OTOH, I think the PDF report is reading too much into the "better-defined" trench. The new image simply has higher contrast overall, and I don't see any secondary signs, such as dirtpiles, to support the theory that the Syrians dug up the pipe.

I'd say it's pretty certain that this is the site the Israelis bombed; or else there was a truly cosmic coincidence.
