Truly, thanks for sharing that! Compared to what little I've seen of him, his performance getting ready for an EVA and during, I don't doubt about his expertise or demeanor. He seems to be a nice 'down to Earth' individual and always ready to speak out about an issue that the controllers need to know about. How can no one care about what will happen up there tomorrow? I'm sure they've through the 'procedures' over and over again and hopefully, they'll be ready should something new, as Scott sees it from his point of view, arises.
One thing I'm certain that those on the ground have found out is that for whatever hardware they have up there, they'll have to be ready for anything that goes wrong. They really have to be electricians, pc programers and plumbers up there.
I used to be among those that thought that going around the Earth two hundred miles up may be mostly a waste of time, but it really is a good testing ground for Luna and Mars.
