Great story about an architect

I have to admit that I don't know the details of this one. Maybe someone else familiar with it can do that but it really doesn't need details to get across the point.

A famous architect was given the task to create a university campus and from what I remember of the story he did a marvelous job but people were confused that not a single sidewalk was included around the many buildings he designed. Instead, grass surrounded all of the structures. He was often asked about this and just said something to the effect that they'd understand.

Well apparently, in a year or so, he returned to his creation, took administrators on a tour and pointed out the areas where the grass was worn down and told them "This is where you build your sidewalks".

I just love that story.
