re: Great story about an architect
I doubt that story is true, but the concept is good. This story couldn't be true unless it happened before our modern building codes (especially the more recent accessibilty codes) came into effect. Still the story rings familiar and I must have heard it somewhere. It probably grew from a story of a University redoing its sidewalks to follow the paths worn in the grass which really is a good idea.
