So why are you complaining?

The extremists have been checked and beaten back and now the center is being rebuilt. The Madhi Army isn't and never was the problem. They were a reaction to the insanity and terror of the Al-Qaeda lead groups.

For a few years we saw Shiite holy sites bombed, Shiites rounded up and executed by the scores, and mass bombings of Shiite populated areas. The Shiites showed great restraint IMO, and took the blows hoping for better days ahead. When things continued to get worse the backlash came and the Madhi Army was formed and began delivering some payback and revenge. They did what anyone anywhere would do under similar circumstances. Now that the Sunni extremists that started the mayhem are being hunted down and stomped out (by the Sunnis themselves) you are seeing a similar draw down on the Shiite side. Sunni extremists started this fire, and it will be put out once that fuel source has been removed.
