It's a long way from "international cooperation" to "US is in control".
But still, the stories are clearly related and seem to come out of the blue sky at a time when Pakestan's government is coming our of a period of serious turmoil.
Somebody in the US higher-ups is sending somebody in Pakestan a message. Time will tell...
