I get something like this
With downloaded files. Sometimes Firefox downloads the entire file, but fails to get 'confirmation" from the sender that the file is complete. It then tags it, FOREVER, as "open".
The only cure I've found is to go back to the original site (yeah, REAL easy) and download it again, overwriting the old file.
A "resume" button would be useful...
