Oddly enough...
If I work from my main machine, and contact the laptop from there (instead of the other way around), the files copy just fine over to the laptop in that direction. Go figure.
I would rather it worked the other way, because I keep the laptop in my bedroom, and like to do the backups from there at the end of the day. It would be a pain to have to start my laptop up, then go back out into my office to back up the files.
Still doing some more experiments...
