We bought our house just over a year ago. We had lenders soliciting us saying, “You can get a bigger house if you get a flexible lone.†No thanks.
We got a house we could afford with a 30 year fixed mortgage.
I am going to be pissed if these folks who got bigger homes they can’t afford get bailed out. Make them sell the house and get something they can afford.
The government should not reward irresponsible behavior. Meanwhile, those of us who were responsible get the short end of the stick- but isn’t that how it always works?
