Its amazing to me that a private business can make money were government only spends it.
Of course the money the governement is paid for these assets will only disappear into a black hole...But then we do get better and safer roads...
On the balance, I'd say it's a good idea to privatize toll roads.
Anyway, get used to it. You can't really expect politicians to pass-up a one time infusion of "free" money. To bad they don't hold the same views toward privatizing medicine, Social Security, etc...
