Had I been as wrong as the neocons around here I would have left long ago. That's because, on my limited behalf, I do have a modicum of self-respect.

There are some folks out there who have NEVER been correct regarding Bush's foreign policy. They contend the US doesn't torture, doesn't have secret prisons, doesn't follow Hitler's "Night and Fog" imprisonment policies. They seem to believe that Bush doesn't lie about the US torturing.

They believed the nuke stuff, the WMD stuff, the democracy stuff, that Iraq was won with MISSION ACCOMPLISHED and the rest is mopping up. They believe that Iraq was behind WTC and that the Taliban has been beaten in Afghanistan. That even though it was Saudi Arabians and Saudi Arabian money behind 9-11 it was Iraq and Afghanistan. That even though OBL is still free in Pakistan, Pakistan is as great an ally as Saudi Arabia.

And they call folks who respond to reality "deranged". People who recognize the world as it is are "deranged". Must be a Limbaugh creation, that one.

Let's save "deranged" for those who cannot recognize reality. "Delusional" is another one. And on and on. They are, frankly, crazy and don't deserve the consideration of rational folks.
