The two sets of statements are grouped in two panes in a tabbed arrangement, and it took me a minute to spot how it works; at first I thought only Democrats were profiled on the page. Looks like the product of a Web designer with more ambition than sense, wanting to show how clever he is, and the content suffered as a result. That's the answer that satisfies Occam's Razor better than paranoid claims of bias.
Bias? I suppose making the Democrat's pane the default (as long as they're stuck with a crappy page design) might be construed as bias by partisan paranoids, but then "D" comes before "R" in the alphabet. As somebody whose name starts with "S" and therefore spent more than my share of time at the back of the line, cry me a river. Change the name to "AAA Republicans" to go to the head of the line.
