This is the second time in about a week that somebody's resurrected an old thread on this subject. The other one is my original posting from over a year ago, though it's sunk back below the line by now and I can't find it.
My theory is that there's a bunch of interns at the RNC trolling the Web trying to do damage control. The other post tried to counterattack with the usual distortions, claiming that I'd been blaming all Republicans for it. You know, the "poor little victim me, you're so unfair" rap. I'm not impressed.
I've been wondering lately how the Republicans will swiftboat Barack Obama if he does become the Democratic nominee. The pros behind the well-funded dirty tricks will be smoother than whoever writes these shitty little email smears, but I suspect that they won't really differ in the basic message, just be better written. "He's black! He's Muslim! He's black! He's a Liberal! He's black! He had sex with a white woman! He's black!" Be prepared for the ugliest Presidential campaign we've ever seen.
