re: Gentoo, hmmmmmm

Googled it, saw a lot of good, and bad comments on that version.

Went through the website, it appears a bit tricky to install. Does have nice support and doc library.

Let's et the sights a bit lower, any other suggestions for a flatter learning curve? Unfortunately I don't have a lot of free time to experiment.
