I've been futzing around forever trying to make up my mind about a laptop, WUXGA, or less, what about using it for HDTV, etc. And then along came this.

My reasons for wanting a laptop are to be portable, of course, but also to watch TV and log into the internet from the back of my van. (I was sold at a token price a great minivan, and with the two back seats out is bigger than a large tent. I've installed an extra battery, battery isolator and circuit breaker, and already had two inverters, 700W and 400W continuous. And I've got an oversized alternator to throw in as soon as it gets dry enough to work under the thing.)

I'd like to travel a bit, and don't like having to find motels or pitch a tent during the winter if I can help it. And it's nice to take naps in roadside rest areas of one wants a nap. Which one usually does. And a place to outwait rush hour traffic if one wants to avoid that stuff.

I know a 17" laptop would be OK, with a TV tuner, but this somehow struck my fancy. Anyone know anything about them?
