I meant what I said, not what you want me to have said. The country's on the ropes because of the divisiveness and polarization fomented by ideologically-crazed Conservatives who put advancing their agenda ahead of the welfare of the country. Of all the potential Republican candidates in the general, McCain's the one least likely to continue the death spiral.
