History 101

I was watching a documentary today on National Geographic Channel about the Munich Olympics Massacre. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks. This happened when I was in the 11th grade. It was history in the making and I would never learn about it in school. Does anyone know how the schools are teaching history/perspective [from the decades when we were teenagers]? I found this
