It does read like someone quasi-literate.
Which Zoners would use the word empathetic or even encroachment? I know the answer but I'm not telling. Though the writer uses sentence structure which is short and not particularly imaginative. Clearly the writer is using the "bulleted propaganda" style which is intended to make opinion read as a series of facts. Journalists and news copywriters use this style most often because it is catering to the short attention span of the average reader.
How many Zoners have a history of working for the news industry?
