I don't think Obama is a "clever fellow" and personally I think ALL politicians are sociopathic because they rise on the backs of others work who generate wealth, loot (or act as looters for) these self-same producers and play Robin Hood to preserve their position with a big cut for themselves.

Hillary, Obama, Bush and the rest don't produce wealth and therefore are entitled to none of it. Once public service is not renumerated in any form, save perhaps a blanket 25k a year for ALL positions large and small, intentionally not enough to live on exclusively, we will see the true "public servants" emerge.

Public service should not be a means to wealth generation. Public service should be performed by those who have the time, money and inclination. Those who are less likely to seek politics or a bureaucratic career to enrich themselves at the expense of the nation. Those who are not tempted to prostitute themselves for special interests of all kinds.

No segment is immune. Even FDA employees now regularly prostitute themselves in service of personal enrichment for those who intend the public harm for a buck.

And anyone who thinks Obama and/or Hillary, or for that matter any President of the past century is not engaging constantly in demagoguery is deluding themselves.
