"How do all of these traits evolve at the same time without interfering with or diluting each other?"
Well, certainly they can affect each other. But bear in mind that's perfectly ok. Nature tests whatever the outcome is by seeing if it reproduces. If it does, then any interference/dilution was not too severe or alternatively it may have been beneficial. That individual got another generational shot at immortality. On the macro level, it may be that big heads and deft fingers is an interference/dilution effect that seemed to work out ok.
Also bear in mind that a lot of the reproduction process is designed to make a more or less perfect copy of the parents. This keeps the number of changes per offspring down to a manageable level.

- It would be hard to call it "wrong". The driver is a puzzlement.
- Evolution isn't random mutations.
