Since we don't have a good definition of life we may never be able to say we've 'found it' but we've definately uncovered a host of worlds that are each fascinating in their own right. From the seas of titan to the deserts of mars we've found beauty. Finding life would be great, but not finding it doesn't make these things less special, I'm not sure who said it but:"If the garden is beautifull why do we need to imagine fairies at the bottom?" There may even be stranger and more fascinating things than life to be found. I don't think I could ever justify thinking of earth as better than other worlds to myself, apart from for the purposes of standing on safely to view all the wonderfull things out there!
