Why are Liberals, as a rule, better writers?
Its not so much that they are more logically consistent or even more grammatically correct in the use of the language, (Sanchez concedes his essay is a partisan rant, not a sober analysis). Its just that they are more intelligent, more persuasive, and certainly more entertaining.
I can think of several excellent and thoughtful Conservative essayists, but there is only one, PJ O'Rourke, that is really worth reading just for fun.
