The "tail" was best on the Apollo 17 mission when the rear fender broke - before the famous "Duct Tape" repair. I remember it from the TV footage, but can't find a good pic on the web. This is the nearest, but doesn't do justice to my memory. (or am I embroidering things with the passage of time? It was a long time back now...)
