Its best to make only one more change to your e-mail address. Go with google or another online e-mail provider and fire your broadband or don't, it no longer matters. I am in the process of transitioning my personal stuff completely over to g-mail. I'm not there yet, but already I would have a much easier time firing my provider than I would have a year ago. My wife's e-mail is another story. While I convinced her to get a gmail account, she still rarely uses it.
