I ask everybody here, is it a good idea to lay off over 10,000 NASA
employees?
They have families to support. Mouths to feed.
What are they supposed to do now?
Find work with Scaled Composites, Bigelow, and SpaceX?
Yea...the private sector will take them all [bullshit]
Collect food stamps when their unemployment benefits run out?
Since James Webb resigned in 1968, NASA has been forced to lay off
hundreds of thousands of employees.
Have all those pink slips helped America's economy?
When NASA churned out Saturn 5's like sausages, and landed men on
the moon....hundreds of thousands of Americans had work [with NASA],
rather than standing in unemployment lines; and they did work that
brought them and others satisfaction and pride.
That's why James Webb stands head and shoulders above
these mediocre NASA administrators that replaced him over the past 40 years.

Think about it! Over 10,000 NASA employees were layed off recently.
