Oil is all around us - we're nearly drowning in it!

At this point only the rubes still buy into the dinosaur & plant compost bit. The planet is drowning in oil and is the byproduct, more likely than not of geothermally "core-cooked" elements throughout the planet's crust.

I've got the articles which say oil would run out by 2000 and be impossible to find by 1990. That the left has been scaring up prices for the oil industry is one of those ironies that make one smile.

It's no more silly than the tree-huggers who say "PLANT TREES!" and then next season shout "WATER SHORTAGE!" and instruct folks to kill off their lawns. Mind-boggling stupidity at work. More trees mean more water consumption. Then their solution is not desalinization of the planets gargantuan-stupendous-staggering amount of water resources - it's conservation, thanks to their huge guilt complexes and neuroses.

"Hurt me hurt me...I'm an evil consumer damaging the planet! I will measure the water I use, time my showers and put bricks in my low flush toilets! And everyone must follow suit!"

"Drive a fuel efficient car! Car pool! Bicycle! Walk! Increase CAFE rates! FORCE people to conserve and be GREEN!"

If a huge supply of oil is discovered - it must be diminished. Whatever you do don't let folks know that humanity could live off of the crusts oil for the next 10,000 years! Then they will not conserve! We will have no reason to FORCE them to live as we see fit and GOUGE them based on our IMAGINARY shortages.

Environmentalists ranks are filled to overflowing with folks who can't seem to think clearly about how things work and seem to have fixations on "shortages" and embrace any crisis that let's them control others and express their neurotic tendencies. The rest are well meaning rubes who want to be "good citizens" and like most sheep follow the herd just to fit in. When the sheep with their "social conscience" hit critical mass the government steps in and throws a few more laws on the books - just what society needs! Now the hold outs MUST follow suit.

It doesn't matter what has been "discovered" when oil companies have been lying guessing about how oil is created in the first place and repeating it ad-infinitum to justify charging an arm and a leg for the stuff.
