Revisionist history
I was grossly unaware
Maybe you should have stopped there...
at the time of some of the backroom deals he did that put us into many of the problems we're in today. NAFTA is showing its true evil.
On December 17, 1992, Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, Mexican President Carlos Salinas de Gortari, and U. S. President George Bush signed the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). Sure clinton supported it later but there are very good reasons to support NAFTA and I'm convinced all the jobs lost since NAFTA would have been lost anyway.
Allowing corporate control of the media was a huge mistake.
2. Corporate control of media is not a huge problem as long as there isn't a monopoloy by one group, and there isn't. Fox News Channel is owned by Rupert Murdoch, NBC is owned by General Electric, ABC is owned by the Disney Corp., and CBS is owned by Viacom. Who's to say non-corporate private ownership would not have an agenda? And government control would be far worse! The internet has also watered down the influence of the msm.
It's very likely the crash of the internet bubble can be pinned on his economic policies.
Care to be specific what Clinton policies caused the internet bubble crash? Reality check, it was a free market speculative process that got overzealous.
The Republican takeover of Congress is often blamed on the sins of his terms in office.
And what were Clinton's sins in his first 2 years as president that got the GOP majority in the Congress? Oh yeah we were still coming out of GHWB's recession??
His mistreatment of Gore during his run probably helped cost Gore the election. Imagine a world today had even a few of those things gone differently.
Gore was endorsed by Clinton. What cost Gore the election was Ralph Nader.
BTW, if you really believe Obama will change DC, you are extremely gullible.
