Just to clarify
Scalia's passing is not the "best news I've read in a while." By all accounts he was a great guy who just happened to be wrong on almost everything. I wish he had simply retired and lived a couple more decades. RIP sir.
The good news is that, after the GOP has immediately politicized this by saying they won't do their constitutional duty of giving an Obama nominee a vote, the President has a strong position to effectively get most of what he wants out of the court if he acts aggressive politically. There is little doubt in my mind he will do that.
