We went from shocked death announcement to the first partisan post in ten minutes, and it was a preemptive accusation of partisanship.
That may be a record for the Zone. Though for the average Internet comment section it's just another day.
Not that I don't love the noble and deeply quixotic suggestion of President of the United States Barack Hussein Obama nominating soon-to-be-ex-President of the United States Barack Hussein Obama to be Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court Barack Hussein Obama. It's beautiful, podrock, really it is, Barack Hussein Obama enlivening his lame duck year in Senate confirmation hearings slowly and deliberately driving the Republicans stark raving mad as they attempt to flame broil him.
That would actually surpass the 2016 Republican Primary as political theater of the absurd. Bravo! I didn't think it could be done!

- Ruth Bader Ginsburg: "we were best buddies"
- If SCOTUS deadlocks, lower court rulings stand. Obama has stacked the lower circuit courts with blue judges
