I saw Poindexter, who found the body, interviewed on TV and he clearly said the pillow was not on his head, but "pushed back against the headboard", and that Scalia looked. "peaceful and undisturbed". It stuck in my mind because there was a John Poindexter involved in the Watergate scandals (probably no relation) and the name jogged a neuron loose in my own head.
Now, Maybe he was lying, or maybe "they got to him", or maybe he was covering something up or changing his story, but I'll believe that San Antonio newspaper when I read it, and even then I'll have no reason to believe it is accurate.
I can't guarantee absolutely that Scalia died of natural causes, for all I know he was abducted by UFO aliens. Heaven knows, Government assassins could certainly off somebody in a way no body could detect. What I'm saying is that there is absolutely no evidence he died under suspicious circumstances.
By the way, while we're on conspiracy theories, here's one of my favorites. When Dale Evans died, Roy Rogers married her twin sister so he wouldn't have to break up the act. My grandmother used to swear that was true.
I don't know for sure myself, but after all, this is the guy who had his Palomino, Trigger, stuffed by a taxidermist after it died. It's possible. At least, it can't be ruled out...
