The first two bullets tell me "restoring the brand" is more important to Newt than changing anything fundamentally. I guess, once a neocon, always a neocon. Roveianism dies hard.
As for bullet number three, "more energy at lower cost with less environmental damage and greater national security bill", that's sounds more like a goal, not a plan. Sure, I'll sign up for that. Just tell me how.
I suggest he look up SDAI's blueprint on SPACE on how to harness the magnetism of the solar system.
Note there is nothing about Iraq.
And what's all this about the Republicans being so badly damaged? Didn't TB prove to us, with a bucket of sand, geometric logic and volumnious footnotes, that it's all just Democratic propaganda and phony polls?
Most of the rest is actually not too bad, I like the earmarks, official English language, filibustering, and several other items myself, although his whining about the coming Democratic purge of Conservative judges just breaks my heart. Paybacks are a bitch, ain't they Newt.
Still, if I were the Gingmeister, I would not take it too hard. The Reps still have a fighting chance of making it this year, let's face it, none of the three candidates so far is very appealing, and the Dems seem determined to shoot themselves in the foot repeatedly even before the main event starts. Maybe the best that can come of this is a moderate Republican Prez and a Democratically controlled congress. I'll settle for that.
