It really depends on what stage he is at. If he is at stage IV, that is very bad with not a very good survial rate. Hopefully he is at stage II. It sounds like he is beyond stage II.

Unfortunaly, I have gained a lot of knowledge about cancer these last few months. I have met a lot of people with different types of cancer at different stages.
