It doesn't bother you that he denounces hate mongering religious nuts one year and then quickly hops into bed with them. It doesn't bother you that he sought the endorsement of an 'end times' preacher that believes the rapture is just around the corner and opposes middle east peace efforts because it delays armageddon.
