We need to tap into our own reserves while we make the switch to nuclear power and electric cars.
Granted, the Democrats blocked drilling in ANWR. However, McCain, because of his environmental beliefs, is against it too.
I am an environmentalist myself, yet I believe we can safely drill in ANWR. Our technology and knowledge of drilling has come a long way since the early oil days.
Why don’t we let Alaska decide if we should drill there or not? I saw the other day that they are in favor of it.
Bush keeps talking about becoming oil dependant, but he is not doing anything. McCain said it should be our number one priority, but I don’t know what his plan is. Obama said is important, but no details from him either. I am afraid none of them is going to do enough.
It’s time to stop dragging our feet on this and start doing something. We know what needs to be done. Come on America, let’s do it. Politicians, wake up. Its time to tell the Middle e=East to kiss-off. It’s time to use our own oil while we switch to nuclear and electric cars. Hell, if France can do it, so can we.
