That post was debating whether to be bitter satire or light hearted parody and I never quite got into the right rhythm.

I thought the economy cars bit was a nice touch. In my mind I envisioned Dodge Omnis (remember those?), AMC Pacers and Ford Pintos with gangs toting automatic weapons out the smashed windows.

A horrifying vision indeed.
