That's an odd mix.

I knew a yuppie Volvo coupe driving couple that wore polo and IZOD shirts, the tied around the shoulder cardigans and khaki skirts - the works. They were a far cry from libertarian, more like mild mannered Presbyterian.

They would probably be the first to call 9-11 at the sign of danger - after carefully first evaluating if it was socially acceptable. Nice folks that wouldn't be caught dead in the projects and probably wouldn't even know how to get to them and would get lost along the way.

Nah, the Hummer drivers who would take on the projects would be the young, rich, rural libertarians - not yuppies by any stretch. More likely to be grown up entrepreneurs in the construction industry or some other outdoor profession and look like well off headbangers.

Armored Volvos? The only place on Earth you might find those would be Europe and driven by socialist politicians in the Netherlands or Belgium on the way to their EU office. They would tell their driver to avoid the projects and any route that might take them past any current rioting, school girl stoning or synagogue burning.
