The doctor I went to see for minor problems charged $30 per office visit. He didn't take insurance, just cash. One day I asked him why he didn't charge more and he said that he made his fortune years ago. He was simply doing it then because he loved his work. He fully retired a couple of years ago, and I had to find another doctor. My wallet misses him.
