OK I actually got it working again. The on button is extremely finicky, so sometimes when it comes on I can't turn it off and have to wait for it to auto-power off. Today I have been able to turn it on and off multiple times, and its hit and miss as to whether it wants to come on. I found a website with instructions on how to open it up and possibly clean or repair the button. I may try that, but I think I'll probably get a new one anyway. This just means I can hopefully eek by for another month before buying a new one.

According to the serial number its 19 years old. Its amazing that after 19 years, this is the first and only problem I've ever had with it.
