I think anyone loony enough to go after Obama will not likely be a Clinton fan either. Clinton hatred may not be generated by racism, but there is an undeniable correlation. No, I think a Clinton VP would be as much life insurnce for Obama as a Cheney VP has been for the Bushbaby.
I do know one thing, an assassination of President Obama would provoke riots which would make the MLK shooting civil unrest trivial in comparison. I don't doubt the Secret Service has already thought of this and is gearing up appropriately.
