Reagan actually did wear shirts and hats like that, and it isn't hard to find photos of that sort.

They don't have much relation to the bizarre kind of picture I posted, or to the almost supernatural things Morford's pals were saying about Obama.

Maybe the closest thing I've seen like this related to a president would be the weird statue of George Washington in the Smithsonian.
