None of that has anything to do with what I, or anyone else on this thread said.

Personally, I'd love to see the administratioin's aims for the war work out. The question is why did we do it?

WMD?
Al-Quaeda?
Depose a Tyrant?
Elections and Democracy?

None of that has anything to do with why we are there.

When a nation invades another country and installs a puppet state in order to improve its economic and strategic position it is agression, pure and simple. THere is no other way to interpret it or explain it away. It's the reason the Soviets invaded Eastern Europe. Regime change, economic control, and setting up buffer states.

I'm enough of a realist and an opportunist to look the other way if we can pull it off; personally, of course I'd rather we ran Iraq than someone else. And if that had happened by 2004 we probably wouldn't be having this exchange right now. Just spare me the righteous excuses.
