Phony issue concocted by desparate Republicans, apparently
If Obama is openminded enough and flexible enough to listen to all viewpoints, and decide that the phased withdrawal from this catastrophic war should be completed in say, 17 or 18 months instead of 16 months, then what is the big deal, and where is the nonexistent flip-flop on Iraq???
He still will have completed a phased withdrawal of US troops, brought our participation in this disaster to an end, and held Iraqi leaders responsible for the job of running their country, with a higher level of international support and cooperation. Isn't that exactly what he promised to do?
