McCain is already getting dirty. I believe he's panicked.

Bush and the current administration will help McCain as much as possible, and then some, and the Rove-like smears will start after the convention.

If what's happened so far is an indication, the Rs are desperate enough to try anything. And McCain's temper will be a factor, too. His "straight talk" has been recognized by the press as mostly talk.
