I remember the very "bummed" atmosphere at the Polar Science meeting in 2000. I'm glad that community got another shot at ground truth.

I haven't really been up on Martian climatology so I'll shoot this one to you Nick. Do you think MPL would've found similar results in the south had it survived it's EDL phase.
