I did not say the sites could not or should not be studied for science and history
I am concerned about the "collector" who wants simply to make
money off these historic artifacts. Hopefully the majority of humanity
will keep such bottom feeders from ever profiting from such items
and thus keep them safe and preserved.
Of course that didn't stop treasure hunters from pillaging the
Titanic, despite Robert Ballard's pleas to leave the ship alone
as a memorial to all those who died aboard it in 1912.
These items will last much longer on the Moon any way.
