It doesn't say what the samples were from.
The Bigfoot interests could have given the guy some hair. I don't see anything which says the fellow was granted access to the corpse(s) or costume to pick the sample himself.
It's increasingly obvious this is simply a ploy to stir the pot, generate some interest in Bigfoot and maybe some sales. My suspicion is these fellows have Nigerian MBAs. This isn't how legitimate finds are handled.
