Things have already changed. No media access to the VP nominee? Unheard of and ridiculous. What does she have to hide? A lot, evidently. Or if McCain is simply trying to protect her, then she doesn't belong in National politics!

And McCain's treatment of the media has also changed. He no longer courts them and gives open access. He's treating them as opponents.
