Instead of FDR coming in to save the day, I wonder if we would have
been too weak to stop Germany and Japan from taking over during
World War 2?

Scary thoughts of the past that might have been and our potential
future for a Sunday morning.

But thanks for sharing those quotes, ER. They are continued proof
about the old saying on those who fail to learn from the past - that's
Bush in a nutshell.
